Today is Day #24 of the inaugural 30 Days of Catch challenge. There have been so many amazing stories and pictures posted, I just wanted to share a couple to encourage my catch-playing friends as we approach the finish line.
Gabe in Georgia played catch with his son, a baseball player and podcaster, and former MLB player Jeff Francoeur.
Gabe also played catch inside an inflatable colon.
In New York, David played catch with his wife’s grandma, Wanda. Wanda wins the Rookie of the Years award at 101 years young.
Matt, from Georgia, played catch with his boss while they were on a trip on Boston. Incredible view.
And J.D., who is in Boston, played catch with Tom and Tom’s sons at the Bunker Hill Monument.
In Arkansas, Becca, the youngest participant in the challenge, played catch with her grandfather, who played college baseball for Centenary College in Shreveport, and a little semi-pro and pro ball!
And Spencer, a journalist in Indiana, connected with former MLB pitcher Joe Thatcher.
With every throw, with every catch, and with every story, playing catch brings the world together.
